Hosting, maintenance and continued development

Technical care that keeps a website or product healthy after launch

We provide managed hosting, monitoring, backups, updates, security reviews, performance work and continued development for websites, stores and web products.

01monitoring, backups and recovery that are verified rather than assumed
02updates and security work with a visible maintenance history
03a clear route for small improvements and larger development scopes
Best fit

When this service is the right starting point.

The first scope should match the real bottleneck, available evidence and the level of responsibility the implementation carries.

a company site that has no named technical owner after launch
a store or application where downtime and stale dependencies create risk
a marketing team that needs reliable small changes without a new project each time
a product that needs monitoring and continued development under one support model
Scope

A complete first stage, with clear boundaries.

Advanced integrations, migrations, unusual infrastructure and business-critical responsibility are scoped after discovery rather than hidden inside a generic package.

01

Technical takeover

Review hosting, domains, access, dependencies, backups, analytics and the current risk register.

02

Monitoring and recovery

Set up agreed availability checks, backup schedules and a documented recovery path.

03

Updates and security

Maintain dependencies and configuration, review incidents and record the work performed.

04

Performance and development

Handle approved improvements, conversion issues and product changes within a clear priority process.

Delivery

Decisions made in the order that reduces risk.

Each stage produces something the team can review before the project takes on more cost or responsibility.

01

Audit and access

Confirm ownership, credentials, providers and current system condition before taking responsibility.

02

Stabilise

Resolve priority vulnerabilities, backup gaps, broken monitoring and urgent performance problems.

03

Maintain

Run the agreed update, monitoring and reporting cycle with a visible record of incidents and work.

04

Improve

Use analytics, search and support evidence to plan changes beyond routine maintenance.

Business outcomes

What the implementation should improve.

These are intended outcomes, not invented performance claims. The baseline and success measures are agreed for the specific project.

clear ownership instead of emergency work spread across several suppliers
faster detection of failures and a tested route to recovery
controlled updates with less risk of silent technical debt
continued product development without losing operational stability
FAQ

Questions before the first scope.

Direct answers about responsibility, feasibility and the way we start.

Can you take over a website built by another company?

Usually yes, after checking access, licences, code quality, infrastructure and unresolved risks. We first confirm what can be supported responsibly.

Are backups enough if they run automatically?

No. The retention, storage location and restore procedure also matter. A backup that cannot be restored is not a recovery plan.

Does technical care include content changes?

It can include an agreed work allowance or separately approved development. The recurring scope and response expectations are defined before takeover.

Is this the same as managed IT support?

No. This service covers the website, store or web product. Employee devices, accounts, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and workplace helpdesk belong to managed IT services.
Next step

Start with the problem, context and constraints.

We will help identify the smallest sensible first stage and tell you directly when the idea needs a different approach or more evidence.
